Ly Lim, P.E, Ph.D. Division of Solid & Hazardous Materials, NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation, Albany, NY. A registered professional engineer in New York State, he has worked in the field of solid waste management for the last 23 years. Dr. Lim received his doctorate and his MS in environmental engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and his BS in chemical engineering from the University of Colorado. Among his recent assignments, he was charged to carry out a study to assess potential environmental impacts from the use of crumb rubber as infill material in synthetic turf fields. The study was completed at the end of 2008.
