Roger Lawrence

Roger Lawrence is the Solid Waste Division Chief for the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality.  Roger was raised in East Texas, but received his professional experience throughout the southern part of the U.S.  He has over 30 years experience in managing all aspects of solid waste including commercial, industrial, and residential collection operations; landfills and transfer operations; and recycling collection and processing facilities.  Prior to joining the Department, Roger served as Assistant Director of Services for the City of Shreveport, Louisiana, General Manager for SCA Services, Regional Manager for Waste Management, and Executive Director of the Saline County (Arkansas) Regional Solid Waste Management District.  He holds a BBA from Texas A&M at Commerce and an MBA from Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana.
