Scrap to Profit Introduction

The Asphalt Rubber Technology Service, Clemson University, Rubber Manufacturers Association, and the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality present, From Scrap to Profit: Symposium on Recycled Rubber in Plastics and Rubber Products. This conference is for those who are facing highly competitive markets and the skyrocketing costs for raw materials, and are considering the use of recycled rubber as a solution. Our panel of expert speakers will cover the range of topics vital to getting started in this exciting area!   The symposium will be held on November 3 & 4, 2010, at the Peabody Hotel, Little Rock, located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Resource Conservation Challenge Scrap Tire Workgroup Introduction

In conjunction with the Scrap to Profit 4 Symposium, the EPA RCC Scrap Tire Workgroup will hold a meeting at the Peabody Little Rock on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. The RCC Scrap Tire Workgroup is spearheading a series of projects that can assist the overall scrap tire market, including a DVD on tire-derived aggegate; a statement on tire-derived fuel; a survey of the use of rubber modified asphalt, and assisting in data collection on scrap tire generation and markets.
