Douglas R. Barr, President, Barr Formulated Products, Supply, NC. Mr. Barr spent 25 years with Bayer, Inc. as the Vice President for Coatings (Polyurethanes/Pigments). He started Barr Formulated Products, Inc. in 2001, specializing in developing coatings for wood mulch and recycled rubber landscape products. The current product line includes both acrylic latex and polyurethane formulations for recycled rubber landscape and playground cover. Barr has manufacturing plants in NC and SC. Mr. Barr is a member of the Tire Industry Association sub-committee on recycled rubber. He earned a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MS in Industrial Management, both from Georgia Tech.
