Charles Astafan

Charlie has been the General Manager of CM’s Sarasota Operations for over the past 12 years. Prior to that, Charlie held the position of Director of Sales. He has been employed by CM for over 19 years.

Charlie has been associated with the tire recycling industry for over 25 years and is responsible for developing numerous equipment innovations for the industry and is one of the inventors listed on companies Patent for its Liberator.

In June 2009, Charlie was named the President of Crane Equipment Services, Inc. a whole owned subsidiary of Columbus McKinnon Corporation. CES is one of the largest manufactures of overhead cranes in the United States with manufacturing facilities in Houston Texas and Eureka Illinois.
